MIRI, May 12 ?Malaysias exports value dipped by more than RM22 billion in the first two months of the year, following the global economic slowdown.
Deputy Minister of International Trade and Industry, Datuk Jacob Dungau Sagan said today that the countrys total exports during the period was RM77.86 billion, a dip of more than 22 per cent from the RM100.16 billion for the same period last year.
He added that the biggest decline among Malaysias major trading partners was to Europe, where the figure dipped from RM13.86 billion in January-February 2008 to RM9.41 billion in the same period this year.
