Nokia E71 Mobile Phone Review - A Full QWERTY Keypad on a Stylish Phone

Introduction

As many Nokia E-series phones were almost useless, original box phones, the E-series started tm streamyx come up in the mobile phone world last business broadband with the E51 and E65. As the N-series is tm net multimedia series, the E-series was almost as enticing and Nokia has announced the release of the Nokia E71 which is to be available in July.

Design

Surprisingly, the Nokia E71 impressed us with its design. A perfectly weighted, metal cased, attractive phone is exactly what it is. One major plus is its keypad that fits just right and makes it one of the most attractive smart phones ever.

The phones screen and keypad are nice features and we were impressed to see easy shortcut keys that make it easy to access your streamyx activation emails, and calendar. It fits kuala lumpur malaysia 10mm profile and slides easily into your pocket even though it is wider than your average handset. However, this Qwerty keypad is one of the best smart-phone keypads ever with raised keys that are small but still easy to use.

The metal casing provides extra protection to ensure the use of this phone will stand strong even if test broadband drop it multiple times. It has started out looking as if it will be a lifelong prototype.

Features

Just like its series related companion the E90, this phone's feature list is booming! Unlike most business-oriented phones, there is nothing out of place and lacking in this phone.

Since it is a smart-phone normally used for business, we are pleased to say broadband speed availability setup on this phone is a breeze. Gmail and Yahoo email accounts are as simple as entering your email address and password; however, the Microsoft Exchange portion of this phone, which it also supports, can be difficult to setup if you aren't smart-phone friendly yourself.

Fly through the World Wide Web using Wi-Fi or HSDPA data connections from almost anywhere on Earth. While it has a built-in Wi-Fi scanner, it's recommended to turn this feature off to conserve battery life; although, you can easily find and connect to a hotspot nearby.
Unlike normal built-in browsers, the E71's browser isn't that bad when you're cruising through the internet. It displays web pages in full and even supports Flash-meaning you can video-hop YouTube in your spare time if you can bear to wait through the sluggish "hear it then see it" style.

Opera Mini and Google Maps are also supported (a big plus in our eyes) due to its use of the S60 operating system. It's easy to get directions and even track your location using Google Maps' sat-nav feature since the E71 comes equipped with GPS.

Want more features that what Google Maps' offers? Nokia Maps comes pre-installed and allows voice navigation, as well as, screenshot saving capabilities-however, good features don't come freely so be prepared to pay for this app.

Are you a professional business man/woman during the day but a wild and crazy kid at night? Sometimes it is useful to keep you business affairs away from your personal life to prevent the headaches, which the E71 allows you to do.

Although impressed so far, we were very unsatisfied with the 3.2 megapixel camera equipped on the E71. Blurry photos and sluggish shutter speeds make the camera disappointing but hopefully Nokia will upgrade their camera in future models.

Performance

Although it is obvious that not running Wi-Fi, HSDPA, and other non-essential connections off will preserve your battery life, the E71 stood up a full two days before needing a recharge while tested during real life situations.

Conclusion

Looking for an email phone with a Qwerty keypad? As long as you don't have to have a perfect phone, the E71 is probably the best choice. It packs so many features that you can almost do anything with it and works as both a business and personal phone all in the palm of your hand.

When you find your favourite phone, you will likely wish for cheap mobile phone cashback deals, failing that you will have to buy it on the high streets which is a more costly proposition. There are a lot of those online, but finding or comparing cheap Nokia E71 offers with free gifts is a bit more difficult unless you are an experienced searcher or go to trusted websites instead of randomly browsing from site to site which gives varying results.

Just how unhealthy is driving a taxi? I drive a small diesel Private Hire vehicle in the south of England. I've not been operating for long, and find myself wondering just how healthy fastest internet connection job is? Yesterday I came back internet troubleshooting base from an airport run - that's about three hours, give or take, in the car, with a couple of leg stretches when loading and unloading my passengers and their baggage. I was surprised at how I felt when I 'dismounted' from the driver's seat on my return - tired, a little stiff - uncomfortable. I used to drive a lot in my old job in sales - about fifty thousand miles a year - and the biggest problem I found in that job was an expanding waistline.

Now, I appreciate that it was as much to do with business lunches and flying a PC as it was sitting behind the wheel, but the weight gain was a fact. So, that's the first two broadband and line rental problems a taxi driver faces: sitting direct internet long and gaining weight! But, dangerous as these are, there's another health risk sitting in your car: the 'fares'! How often there's a snivel, a cough, a nose-blowing going on, as people return from overseas travel, or, let's face it, just being a stranger crossing paths. A taxi cab, like the sealed aluminum tube that is a modern jet, is a great place for germs to meet new hosts. OK, that's three: weight, a static life-style, and infection. But the biggest health risk is moving at speed along the public highway.

Every mile you do puts you in harm's way - the other driver, tiredness, your car, debris on the carriageway, pedestrians, livestock, wildlife and the weather. I've not included alcohol, as anyone driving having had a drink is streamyx tweak stupid and illegal, and taxi-drivers value their licenses too much to make this kind of obvious mistake. This all sounds a little unhealthy to me - so what to do about it? Simple! Exercise (a walk that'll relax the aching muscles after a long drive; or more vigorous exercise that'll help keep the weight off); plenty of sleep (especially before an early pick-up); and don't drink the night before a morning pick up. Eat well, but not too much. Make sure your vehicle is in good order. Drive with care, be alert! small business broadband plenty of fresh air in the car (without letting your fare get cold!) and use the air-con as little as possible. Take a break. Eat fruit!

Safe Finance For Difficult Times

In mid-January 2009 the Monetary Authority Streamyx Singapore (MAS) launched its first SGD denominated Sukuk (a bond that adheres to the requirements of Shariah law) programme. With this programme the MAS aims to promote Islamic banking and ensure that the city state continues to mature into a significant Islamic finance hub in Asia. The pole position in this sector within the region is presently held by Kuala Lumpur.

The issuance of the Sukuk by the MAS is significant progress in the development of an Islamic banking market in Singapore as it gives Islamic banks access to local currency liquidity, something that is presently absent. It thus allows the banks to provide Shariah compliant, local currency products, and solutions. With the MAS benefiting from the highest credit rating of the Government of Singapore, an important element in the Singapore's Islamic banks arsenal has been met.

The new Sukuk is important for another reason. It proves that regional governments are beginning to Streamyx pro-active in identifying, and accessing, alternative sources of funding. This is undoubtedly the result of very tight credit markets globally, an unwanted side effect of governments globally trying to borrow their way out of the global credit crunch.

What is also remarkable is that Singapore has again trumped Hong Kong in an important area of finance. Chief Executive Donald Tsang mentioned the intention of the Hong Kong government to promote the territory as a potential Islamic finance hub in his Policy Address in 2007. Since then the government has done very little to put Streamyx I am hesitating to use the word, vision into practice. Checking around town you will find many a senior banker frustrated in their intent to get Islamic banking off the ground through a lack of serious government initiative.

Having said this, the timing of the Chief Executive's original statement was perfect. It was made in a time of rising oil prices, providing the main proponents of Islamic finance in the Arab world with ample cash to fund new Islamic banking ventures as well as driving the growth of the Islamic finance industry. At the time, Hong Kong should have made every effort to benefit from this ideal scenario. It did not.

Although Hong Kong has missed this, albeit very important, opportunity I believe that it is not too late to position Hong Kong as Asia's Islamic finance hub. The paralysis of the traditional banking system has opened the door for another bite at the cherry.

Let me explain. The basic principle that underlies Islamic finance is that of shared risk. Risk should be shared between the lender and the borrower. Consequently, the lender is expected to take a greater interest in the success of the enterprise. Muslims believe that it is unfair, as well as immoral, for the lender to be guaranteed the repayment of capital plus interest regardless of the outcome of the venture. This makes for very prudent financial management. As an extension of this, there are an increasing number of commentators Streamyx argue that a global financial system subject to Islamic principles would have meant a much safer system than the very fragile house of cards we are Streamyx subject to.

Adopting this system of finance would however require a significant leap of faith from several sectors. Although Islamic finance originates in the religious writing of Islam we should regard it as much more than that. It is a socially responsible way of arranging to meet the financial needs of society which goes way beyond the religious aspects upon which it is based.

As the financial gateway to China, Hong Kong now has the opportunity to lead the second wave in the development of Islamic finance in Asia. In addition to being home to the world's third largest Muslim community, China is in need of foreign investments and the still cash rich countries of the Islamic world are increasingly looking for Islamic investment opportunities in the Far East.

To make this a marriage made in heaven some decisive action is required on the part of the powers that be, in addition to the Streamyx having to educate itself on what is involved in a banking system that is based on the Islamic principles, and how this can be used beneficially for all parties involved. Some of the larger financial institutions in Hong Kong already have the necessary know-how. However, the industry at large, including accountants, bankers, and lawyers has a lot of catching up to do.
